
East Midlands Railway provides intercity and regional train services across England. Over the next eight years, East Midlands Railway will deliver over £600 million of improvements for passengers across the network. At Derby their services include Community Rail routes on the Derwent Valley Line (Nottingham-Derby-Matlock) and the North Staffordshire Line (Derby-Stoke-Crewe) serving local communities and providing access to numerous tourism attractions along these lines. East Midlands Railway Community Rail Partnerships for these lines, work to promote these routes and engage local communities in a range of activities including station gardening and artwork bringing an improved welcome for passengers using their services and local pride for the communities involved.
